Puede tratarse de un texto o de una conversaci\u00f3n hablada. Los bots de chat se utilizan b\u00e1sicamente para la adquisici\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n. Pueden funcionar en los ordenadores locales y en los tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles, aunque la mayor\u00eda de las veces se accede a ellos a trav\u00e9s de Internet.
